Workshop Descriptions:

Wednesday 1-2:30 Balthis-Rodwell.  Rev David Hiller – Pawley Island, SC

With all that is happening in the world, this is the time to courageously express and live the truth of who we really are. In this workshop we will learn how to overcome obstacles, stand tall in our truth and live in peace and harmony. I will be teaching how we create our reality through either our egoic self-defeating beliefs or our heart positive and productive beliefs. I will also tell some powerful miracle healing stories, facilitate a deep relaxation experience in which everyone will have wonderful, transformative affirming messages introduced into their consciousness to promote positive changes and we will also participate in a very powerful ceremonial healing experience to assist in creating a sense of wellbeing.

Wednesday 1-2:30 St. John’s.Rev Ron Lindahn – Lakemont Ga.

Each of us is a ray, or viewpoint, of God in expression. When we remove subconscious influences, false ideas and non-useful behaviors, then our already perfect essential nature is self-revealed. We will practice effective meditation and review simple, timeless guidelines that can result in rising to healthy, prosperous, joyful living, fully awake in God.

Wednesday 2:45-4:15 St. John’s. Rev. Ed Kosak – Charleston, SC

Our relationships and social justice work are less healthy and productive if we’re not healed and centered. Vipassana meditation is the Buddha’s gift to teach us to cease suffering, to heal, to evolve. Learn and practice Vipassana at this workshop. We can then Rise UP and Our 12 Powers then come to fruition!

Wednesday 4:30-5:30 Baltis-Rodwell. Rev Ana Quintana – Raleigh, NC

Enjoy the perfect rhythm of life and the flow as you join Rev Ana Quintana in a salsa workshop that would make you feel alive and present to the moment and to your natural state of joy and wellness.

Wednesday 4:30-5:30 St. John’s. Rev Leah King – Greenville, SC

Discover the hidden blocks to your prosperity and how to change your beliefs to match a life of wellbeing and abundance.  In this workshop you will learn tools that will enhance your consciousness to receive what you need when you need it.  There will be an exercise to help you uncover your root beliefs.

Wednesday 4:30-5:30  Meet in Registration Lobby. Rev Bronte Colbert – Athens, GA

Connect to the peace, abundance, and balance of nature as you mindfully walk around the lake, perhaps setting your intention of what “Rise Up” and “evolution” mean to you. How will you choose to empower yourself and your dreams in the weeks ahead? When we reach the meadow, join in a circle of well-being and slip off your shoes (optional) as we call up the healing power of Mother Earth / Mother God / Infinite Spirit.  Meets in the registration area of the lobby before the walk.

Thursday 1-2:30 Balthis-Rodwell. Rev James King – Greenville, SC

You are the Christ, but do you know what that means?  How do we express our true nature of divinity? Are your meditations difficult?  Do you know where to put your powerful attention?  In this expansive workshop we will reveal, and then practice together what it means to truly and completely love God.  You will learn how to receive answers from your inner guidance system and how to balance your own energy.  We will explore the truth of the cosmic bread and wine.  We will eat the bread of understanding and drink the wine of pure joy.  If you are ready for the next step in the evolution of your spiritual consciousness, then this is for you!

Thursday 2:45-4:15 St. John’s. Rev Rosemary Hyde – Chapel Hill, NC

Every time someone asks me —with no clue — “What is Unity?”, I think that inquiry spells missed opportunities not only for our congregation but for all Unities. We are inviting UMMAS leaders at all levels to participate in our brainstorming session on how we can collaborate in the next year to raise the level of community awakening to Unity as a spiritual opportunity. We can rise up and shine much more brightly together than in isolation, and all it takes is conscious choosing on our part.

Thursday 2:45-415 Balthis. Rev. Jesse James and Lavonne Hoglund –  Demorest, GA

Unfold, Expand, Awaken – BE the Light of the World  “We are all meant to be mothers of God.  God is always needing to be born” Eckhart Tolle.  During this experiential workshop we come together joined as the womb of creation, assisting in the birthing of Christ consciousness for ourselves and for our troubled world.   Through the vibration of the crystal bowls, chant, silence and sharing we embody the ancient call of Love in a deeper way. As we gain the strength, courage and clarity, we rise up in consciousness to be the authentic change that is so needed in our world at this critical time. And so it is!

Thursday 2:45-4:15 Calhoun. Rev. Ana V. Quintana

Join Rev Ana in a fun and practical workshop about the principles of true abundance.  She will use her own format: The Prosperity Framework to lay out the concepts and facilitate its integration in your life.    Workshop will be in Spanish.  All are welcome.
