UMMAS pays most of the cost for active UMMAS Ministers and Spiritual Leaders and their spouses to attend our annual retreat at the Kanuga Conference Center. All active members attending the retreat are expected to assist in various ways.
Opportunities for service include:
- Lead an evening Vespers service or morning meditation
- Give a workshop
- Serve on the retreat team
- Help promote the retreat
- Serve at registration and check-in table
- Offer prayer and spiritual support to retreat guests
- Lead programs such as mountain or lake walks, yoga, tai chi, etc.
Retreat Registration Policy

Any active member of UMMAS may pay a reduced rate for self and spouse/partner to attend the Kanuga retreat. Unity ministers/spiritual leaders who are not active UMMAS members may attend the retreat at the regular registration fee.
Retreat Workshop Presenter Policy

UMMAS members who want to teach a workshop at the Kanuga retreat must attend either the February or May business meeting of said year.
